Twenty years ago, US forces with the UK and other allies invaded Iraq in order to oust dictator Saddam Hussein. It was part of what the US called its “War on Terror”, begun by then President George W Bush after the 9/11 terror attack in 2001. The BBC’s Jeremy Bowen explains how the invasion sparked two decades of chaos and violence in the country.
