NASA’s Perseverance rover collected rocks and captured images of Mars that indicate water once flowed on the Red Planet. Scientists are busily searching for evidence of organic compounds in the samples of rock, the presence of which would point to the reality of Martian life in ancient times. RT America’s Mollye Barrows has the details. Then Dr. Avi Loeb of Harvard University joins to share his expertise. He describes the reasons for the evaporation of water on Mars and says “a massive planet like the Earth” is needed “to sustain the atmosphere and liquid water for a long time.” He also discusses the theory of panspermia, which admits the possibility of extraterrestrial origins to earthly life and vise versa.
