Using the Reading Room and Handling Materials in the Beinecke Library

Beinecke Library at Yale– Sep 7, 2018

The Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library exists to make rare and fragile materials accessible to the researchers from around the world. To maintain the integrity of the millions of books, letters, images, and other documents we hold, we have established a procedure for viewing items in our Reading Room, as described in this video. More information about visiting the library for research can be found on our website: https://beinecke.library.yale.edu. Following these guidelines will ensure that the collections at the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library are accessible to scholars and patrons for generations of scholarship and discovery. Thank you for your attention, and we look forward to your visit.
