Republican AGs Slammed for Encouraging “STOP THE STEAL” Protests

New information continues to arise following last week’s domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol. Police departments across the country are investigating if any off-duty cops from their ranks took part in the attack, and reports suggest that the members of the Republican Attorney General Association (RAGA) encouraged people to attend the pro-Trump riots. Additionally, already three representatives have tested positive for coronavirus after being forced to shelter with maskless Republicans amid the attack—after which 147 GOP lawmakers still voted to throw out the results of a free and fair election. Massachusetts AG and Democratic Attorney General Association Chair Maura Healey joins NowThis Senior Correspondent Versha Sharma to discuss the riot and the calls for Republican AGs who were in support of the attacks to ‘distance themselves’ from RAGA and its leadership.
