China-U.S. Trade Deal Tied to Campaign Politics

#Tensions between China and the U.S. are rising again. Washington said it would suspend all Chinese passenger airlines from flying in and out of America. With the U.S. politicizing the origins of the virus against China on top of serious #trade disputes, cooperation between the two countries is getting harder. And how will the upcoming U.S. elections affect ties between the world’s largest economies? Tian Wei talked with Professor Graham Allison from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He wrote a book on how China and the U.S. can avoid direct confrontation.
