833 pages. Text in French. Profusely illustrated throughout with 395 line drawings, including 2 large folding plates, plus numerous full page engravings.
Originally issued as part of a monumental history of the ancient world series, this volume like all the others covers a specific region or spot and stand alone, complete unto itself.
