China declares a ‘war’ on plastic pollution

China is striving to reduce the use of non-biodegradable plastic products by updating a plastic industry regulation, 12 years after restrictions were first imposed on plastic bags. Social awareness on plastic pollution has significantly increased in recent years, and China has laid out three major goals for battling plastic pollution in the near future.
