The Italian city of Venice has this week been suffering the effects of the worst flooding in more than half a century. That has prompted the government to declare a state of emergency. 20 million euros will be allocated to addressing the immediate damage, but the city’s mayor says he expects the actual cost of the flooding to be much higher. Wassim Cornet reports.
