At least 10 killed, over a million displaced in Indian flooding

At least 10 have been killed in heavy rains and flash floods in India’s northeastern state of Assam. Torrential rains have affected nearly 80 percent of the state, and caused the banks of one of India’s largest rivers to burst, putting the water level 16 centimeters above the danger mark, which is likely to rise further.
