“Children are dying”: Law professor describes migrant detention center

Border Patrol facilities housing migrant youth are being likened to concentration camps as horrifying conditions ignite fear that more incarcerated children will die. “Virtually no one is taking care of these children,” says Warren Binford, a law professor who visited the Clint Border Patrol station near El Paso, Texas. “They are locked up in these cells 24 hours a day. There are open toilets in many cells, there’s no soap … many of them are forced to sleep on concrete.”
