Per la settima settimana di seguito, migliaia di studenti belgi sono scesi in piazza a Bruxelles per quello che é stato ribattezzato “lo sciopero della scuola”, una giornata di protesta settimanale contro l’inazione dei governi europei e internazionali di fronte al problema del cambiamento climatico e del surriscaldamento globale. La manifestazione di questa settimana era particolarmente attesa per la presenza tra gli altri di Greta Thunberg, la sedicenne attivista svedese che da sola per prima ha iniziato ad agosto scorso a saltare una volta ogni sette giorni la scuola per andare sotto il parlamento di Stoccolma e chiedere interventi immediati sul clima. Il suo esempio è diventato un modello per ragazzi di tutto il mondo, dando vita a un movimento globale che ha preso il nome di “Giovani per il Clima”. . .di Marco Billeci
