Boston is prepping for climate change. If the city keeps doing business as usual, it will adversely affect its population. While the average summer temperature in Boston from 1981 to 2010 was 69 degrees, it may be as high as 76 degrees by 2050 and 84 degrees by 2100.As soons as the 2050s, 7% of the total land area in the city could be exposed to frequent stormwater flooding. Coastal and Riverline flooding will affect Boston both during storm events and during high tides, will will cause large-scale flooding in some neighborhoods. People, buildings, infrastructure, transportation and economy will be seriously affected.

US snow warning: Shock NASA graphic shows Storm Grayson ‘BOMB OUT’ US East Coast
STORM GRAYSON has been battering the United States East Coast with heavy snow. But latest NASA graphics show the storm intensifying, pummelling the coast with even stronger winds and harsher cold air.
Storm Grayson has led to a state of emergency being declared in many parts of the United States’ East Coast and residents have been told to take care in the states of Florida, Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was also forced to declare a state of emergency after Storm Grayson began pummeling the Eastern US state with heavy snow.

Bill de Blasio, New York City’s mayor, has warned about the Arctic temperatures that could freeze the Big Apple and warned residents not to underestimate the storm.

Around 1,500 snow ploughs have been deployed in a desperate bid to keep residents safe.
