According to the Associated Press, Yale’s Poynter Fellowship in Journalism just held a 36-hour hackathon. And the winners of the competition was a team of four students who came up with a plug-in called, Open Mind. Open Mind works with Google Chrome. So you install it, and then when you’re browsing the Internet on Chrome, and you come across something the plug-in deems fake news, you’ll see a warning screen saying, we think this is fake, watch out!
