Corporations have captured the Internet and are destroying it by transforming it into a pay-to-play, cable-TV type of entertainment cash-cow to serve as a vehicle for the cheap, mass diffusion of advertising, edutainment and advertorials to control the range of “thinkable thought” and manipulate political and social thought.
In the name of “increasing” the range of free choices available on through the internet the effort is to eliminate free thought and any capacity to develop critical thinking. This is one of the major reasons why Americans are the least well informed and least motivated populations in the entire world with respect to climate change.
