John from http://www.growingyourgreens.com/ visits Carta Buena Food Truck in Rincon, Puerto Rico to share with you the ultimate Farm to Table Model: Growing Fruits and Vegetables on Site to serve customers juices, smoothies, and food made with just picked fruits and vegetables.

In this episode, John visits the organic garden of Carta Buena that is growing food on-site for the Food Truck. You will learn more about the food truck concept and why John believes its a great way of starting a food service business.

You will get a tour of the fruit and vegetable garden at Carta Buena, and John will share his favorite, flowers, fruits and vegetables they are growing.

You will learn about John’s favorite smelling flower: Ylang Ylang as well as an edible flower that looks like a clitoris: Clitoria ternatea also known as butterfly pea.

You will learn about the most underutilized fruit they are growing in the garden as well as the most utilized fruit. You will discover how they are are growing ginger in the shade as well as some other vegetables they serve at the food truck. You will discover some easy-to-grow tropical vegetables that can be grown in Puerto Rico or other tropical areas.
