In the same way that holistic medical practitioners address all of the factors in a person’s health and wellbeing (like environment, genetics, diet, and exercise habits) rather than just the symptoms, systems-based solutions for climate change address the global climate as a whole, not a set of individual parts. In Chapter 10 of the Think Resilience course, Senior Fellow Richard Heinberg examines the concept of Systems Thinking and shows how this approach often tends to solve many problems at once.
