India monsoon rains affect nearly two million people

At least 80 people have been killed and nearly two million people are affected by torrential monsoon rain, flooding and landslides, in northeast India.

The hardest hit states are Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur, on India’s borders with Myanmar and China.

Al Jazeera’s Paul Chaderjian reports.
