European leaders have reacted with anger and defiance after U.S. President Donald Trump announced his country was quitting the 2015 Paris climate agreement.
French president Emmanuel Macron took the lead in slamming the move, and he was supported by Europe’s other two big economies, Germany and Italy.
Earlier, Trump confirmed his country’s withdrawal from the accord, describing it as a massive redistribution of American wealth to the developing world..
