A look at how George Bush’s conversion to evangelical Christianity would prove politically important during both his father’s 1988 Presidential campaign, and, his own Presidential campaign (and policy making, as President). On a personal note: I am not a person who is conventionally religious, and, I am disturbed by the trend in American politics that a significant percentage of the the electorate will simply vote for the candidate who they perceive to be the “most religious” (or the “most Christian). I hope that you find the video interesting, and, illuminating. I also hope that the Unites States, in the future, endeavors to keep religion and politics separate – as was intended by the founders of this country.
