Chimpanzees saved from deadly bush meat trade

Bush meat is among issues under discussion at the CITES talks in Johannesburg. It’s a controversial and complex issue; one that is responsible for thousands of orphaned chimpanzees in central Africa. Some are smuggled into countries as far south as South Africa. Thanks to a sanctuary founded by world famous primatologist Jane Goodall, dozens of chimps live out the rest of their days in comfort. CCTV’s Julie Scheier has more.
