What’s the REAL Cost of Food?
The answers to this question are important to organic farmers, who must explain to consumers why their products may cost more than those from conventional farms. And they’re important to retail food co-op members. Knowing more about the real costs of the food offered for sale in the different markets around us puts the prices we encounter in context and it helps us gauge the importance of sustaining a co-op.
