So activists are trying to hold one of the world’s greatest climate criminals accountable through a People’s Trial of Exxon, a trial to highlight what Naomi Klein calls “the climate crime of the century.” In this conversation with Mediapart’s Jade Lindgaard, Klein explains some of the ways activists are putting pressure on the real actors of the climate change game.

On the sixth day of the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21), Dr Saleemul Huq reports on the second day of Development & Climate Days.

A senior fellow at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) and director of the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), Huq discusses in particular the high level panel that concluded the event, including the contribution of former Irish president and IIED board of trustees chairman Mary Robinson.

Huq will be providing daily updates from COP21 throughout the conference.
