Japan is restarting its first nuclear reactors since the Fukushima disaster. But despite improved safety standards, public opposition remains high. What will it take to regain the Japanese public’s faith in nuclear power, and can the current government afford to continue with its unpopular policy of restoring the country’s nuclear capacities?
