Thirteen countries move closer to eradicating hunger

This short animation illustrates the progress made by many countries in achieving the hunger reduction target set at the World Food Summit in 1996 and the hunger target of the first Millennium Development Goal, MDG1c. Brazil, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Gabon, The Gambia, Iran, Kiribati, Malaysia, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, the Philippines and Uruguay are the latest in a growing list of countries to make great strides in combating undernourishment.
