The mainstream media is failing us when it comes to covering the story of the century – made climate change. And, as Media Matters has recently reported, there’s no better example of this failure than the decline of climate coverage at Reuters since that news organization hired Paul Ingrassia as as an editor. Ingrassia is a self-described “climate skeptic,” and questions whether or not global warming is man-made. Denying climate is absolutely insane.

IRCS (International Research Center on Sustainability) at Rheims University is hosting a Summer School on Urban Transitions to Sustainability in the framework of the yearly Rencontres Internationales in Sustainability Studies. This summer school is organized jointly with SENSE (The Netherland Research School for Socio-Economic and Natural Sciences of the Environment).

This course is specifically designed for doctoral students, post-docs and young scholars who whish to further explore urban sustainability, discuss cutting-edge research with peers and established scholars alike and develop specific skills such as presenting their own research, developing abstracts and discussing the research of other scholars in the make.
